Winter's Curse:

Winter Wyvern strikes the battlefield with a maddening chill, cursing a targeted enemy unit and freezing it in place. All of the target's nearby allied units will go into an uncontrollable frenzy, attacking the frozen ally for a short duration.

Anyways, the big problem with Auroth is that his mana regeneration and also HP Regenration is somewhat terrible in the beginning game phase. Also, he has virtually no armor nor attack damage. (and it will not be easy to get damage also)
So, the build that comes best to support his regen and give him damage (if you really need it) and armor is the following:
Beginning phase: OR :courier : and make ( this build is only if they have frequent spell casters)
OR
(helps mana/hp regen greatly and also remember your third move helps you heal!)

With that in mind, you have to note the fact that Auroth is never, never a late game hero nor is he a hero that should go alone late game phase or even middle game phase.

What the Hero's moves do :
Arctic Burn - Basically you are now a flying unit but creeps can still hurt you, and your attack now has a frost orb effect, and slows down the one you're attacking greatly. You have 1000 range when you get it to lvl 4, and it's a great chasing ability when the enemy hero's hp is really low.
Splinter Blast - Great for killing creeps or someone who is clustered closely to each other. It will NOT damage the one who you threw the splinter to, but all else surrounding it will be damaged, and also another slow effect as similar to having an frost orb effect will be placed on them.
Cold Embrace - Your healing spell. You will be disabled for 4 seconds, but you will gain back a great majority of your health in a short time, in fact more than Legion Commander's Healing ability.
Winter's Curse - Great when there's a cluster around the target you place the spell on. The selected target will be frozen in place for 2.5 seconds, which means it can't do anything, and anything around it in a circle around 100 AoE (estimate) allies will attack it. SO, USE THE SPELL on a hero that has low HP and does little damage and make sure a high damage hero is attacking it for kills.
For Auroth, Mid is not preferably an option because you will continually fight for creep kills as well as heavy spell casters who might be there. He is also very slow, so if you're ganked mid you will be done for it they have a stun or a good slow hero such as ogre or travex. So, Top or Bot is a better option because you will have safety and also you can help deny + kill creeps easier with less chance of being ganked.
